He currently manages overall marketing activities of Rakuten Marketing Japan Business, supports the promotion of marketing related business and new scheme services of the group.
Before, he managed project support, creative and campaign management based on planning operation of digital marketing that utilizes service data platform of Rakuten group.From 1995, he started to be engaged in internet advertising business for an advertising company in Osaka.
In 2002, he joined Lycos Japan, which is the joint venture of Lycos inc. and Sumitomo Corp. He managed the monetization of each services, product planning, cooperation tasks with outsourcing as a manager of the sales sector product management team. After the M&A of Lycos Japan by Rakuten, he joined Rakuten, Inc.
He is in the advertising business (current Rakuten Marketing Japan) after his involvement in Infoseek service monetizing business, human resources information service business chief, and being a director of Rakuten WOMAN editing sector.
